We are a small family farm located in Lincoln County, in the foothills of North Carolina. We are dedicated to providing the best products possible to our customers by providing a nurturing environment for our animals and crops. What We Do
What's Happening On The Farm
Pasture Raised Pork
We raise a combination of heritage breed Berkshire and Berkshire/Yorkshire cross. Pigs are born on the farm and grow up here with ample room to root, roam, and just be a pig.
Pasture Raised Chicken
Our chickens are purchased as day old chicks and raised on pasture which makes for a great tasting bird with wonderful texture in its meat. We do not sell live poultry.
Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Goats
Nigerian Dwarf Goats are well known for the fat content of their milk. Our does are registered through the American Dairy Goat Association (ADGA) and are bred here on the farm. Doelings and bucklings are typically sold in the spring and price depends on factors such as eye color, markings, and polling.
Molasses also known as sorghum syrup is an Ellis family tradition that goes back over 75 years. Sorghum cane is grown here on the farm and then harvested in late Fall and cooked down to make a sweet great tasting syrup that can be used for a variety of cooking needs.

Whole Chicken- $5.00/lb.

Sorghum Molasses- $7/pint, $12/quart (available in the Fall)
About Our Processing
All of our pork is processed at Mays Meats Food Service located in Taylorsville, N.C. which is a USDA inspected facility. All sausage recipes are pre-mixed and provided by A.C. Legg Seasoning to Mays Meats. If you have specific ingredient questions, please refer to their website at www.aclegg.com.

All of our chicken is processed on farm. We hold a poultry exemption certification and are inspected regularly by the N.C. Department of Agriculture.
Where To Find Us
Our products can be found each Saturday from 8am until 12pm at the Denver Farmers Market, located on Highway 16 in the parking lot of Denver Baptist Church. Our products can also be purchased at the farm by appointment. We accept cash and debit/credit cards.
